Get to know me a little better
I'm a proud Peruvian, born in the Amazon jungle of my country. My natural curiosity and passion for learning have driven me to explore cultures and pick up new skills in different parts of the world.
When I was 19, I moved to Argentina, where I got permanent residency and started my career as an Administrative Accounting Assistant. During the pandemic, I worked at Scotiabank, helping families refinance their debts. That experience sparked my desire to explore the quality of life in other countries, which led me to Austria, specifically Kitzbühel, where I experienced a completely different culture for the first time.
Knowing my tourist visa had its limits, I started looking for ways to extend my stay in Europe. I successfully applied for an Au Pair visa, which allowed me to live in Austria and get to know Austrian daily life in depth. On my blog, I share how, as a Peruvian, I managed to change my tourist status to a work permit in Austria, even without speaking German.
Over the past two years, I've used various platforms that have made my life as an immigrant easier. One of the most valuable has been TrustedHouseSitter, which I still use regularly. You can find more info on my blog, and I’m happy to help you set up your profile for free.
After finishing my Au Pair contract, I tried to get a Working Holiday visa in France, but I ran into unexpected obstacles. Instead of getting discouraged, I took the opportunity to learn new skills and discovered my passion for ecommerce and exports through Giulia Chilin's Virtual Assistant course.
After my work visa in Austria ended, I moved to the UK, where my English improved a lot. This progress opened up new opportunities for me, including my first remote job as a Virtual Assistant, thanks to the inspiration of Claire, a Project Manager whose story motivated me to overcome my fears and dive into the professional world in English.
Each stage of my life has been crucial for my personal and professional growth, and I thank God for every opportunity I've had and for those that are yet to come.
